Fun and Play in Gothenburg

Playing in the Gothia Cup is a unique, international experience. Sharing the unique culture of this important and historic sea town with your teammates, unforgettable. The Gothia Cup is the world’s largest, most international youth soccer tournament bringing together nearly 1,900 youth teams from 80 countries each year to play nearly 5,000 soccer games on more than a hundred pitches.

Fun and Play in Gothenburg

Gothia Cup tournament play allows players and their chaperones plenty of time to enjoy the sights and experiences of the international city of Gothenburg, Sweden. In addition to tournament play, the travel itinerary includes a hotel stay in the city center, trips to local events, parks and attractions and training sessions to keep players fresh and ready for the excitement of international tournament play.

Summer 2024

July 10th - July 20th

Experience the joy and exhilaration of international tournament play while staying in the city center and appreciating the thriving culture of Gothenburg, Sweden, with the BA Soccer Academy team.

Summer Tentative Itinerary:

  • Day 1 - Departure from LAX
  • Day 2 - Arrival to Gothenburg, Sweden / Rest day
  • Day 3 - Light training in morning | Afternoon - Rest / Free time
  • Day 4 - Scrimmage | Boat tour of Gothenburg
  • Day 5 - Liseberg - amusement park
  • Day 6 - Tournament games | Gothia Opening Ceremony
  • Day 7 - Tournament games
  • Day 8 - Tournament games
  • If your team finishes as the first two teams you will play in top bracket. If not, your team will play in the lower bracket.
  • Day 9 - Elimination Tournament game
  • DEPENDING ON RESULT Your team will keep playing games OR below is tentative itinerary:
  • Day 10 - Scrimmage
  • Day 11 - Visit to Stockholm
  • Day 12 - Departure from Gothenburg
